I got a call claiming to be from Amazon about my Prime membership. Turns out these folks ain't from Amazon at all. Their goal? To get you to download TeamViewer. Once you do that, they can see all your stuff on the computer and access all your personal info and accounts. I’ve never had an Amazon account, and my phone number isn’t linked to any Amazon site ever. When I asked the woman how they got my number, she just hung up on me. Total scammers.
