Its obviously the same lot (or at least they’re using the same company name) ringing from a variety of numbers, both mobiles and landlines, plus some are even withheld! Ive asked them plenty times to stop but they just dont listen. I get calls from another number of theirs right after.

What a lot of nonsense! They rang me claiming they needed to inspect my solar inverter because the warranty was about to expire. But I've still got nearly five years left on it! And honestly, if there were any issues with the output-which there certainly aren't-they ought to be well aware of that if they're legitimate and authorised to handle my system. Definitely dodgy!

Watch out for these dodgy callers. You don't need a 5-year inspection for solar panels. If anything’s wrong, it'll show up when your meter readings start dropping unexpectedly. If that occurs, just reach out to a trusted solar firm for advice.

They first wanted to speak to my late wife’s husband who’s passed away, then asked for my late wife herself, and finally the person who owns the house. They said my solar panels are 5 years old and the inverter needs replacing as the warranty’s run out. I did book a slot, but after seeing these reviews, I’m thinking of cancelling it.

Got a call from an elderly gentleman claiming he worked for a solar company that supposedly looked after my solar panels. Had no clue about it, so I just thanked him and ended the call.

This is a complete con. They rang me saying my inverter wasn’t working properly and might need changing. It’s only 6 years old and luckily our engineer was around doing maintenance then, so I handed the phone over to him - they immediately ended the call. If they ring you, just ignore it, they’re looking to get into your home and push services or sell extra gear like battery backups for power outages which you really don’t need.
