Got a call from 01047701971 at 11:32 on Saturday 6th June. There was a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, saying I owed £79 which I had to pay. I just listened and then it ended. Totally a scam, I haven’t bought anything from Amazon recently. These calls are such a pain and really sketchy.

Since April, I've been inundated with calls beginning with +44 70 9870. Strangely, the last four digits vary every time. It’s a right nuisance, and I'm certain it’s a scam coming from Nigeria. Honestly, save yourself the hassle and don’t answer. Blocking them is futile as they just ring back with new digit combinations!

Got a call from 07098702971 at about 10:07pm on Sunday 9th June 2019. It rang for like 6 seconds but i was driving so couldnt answer. I tried calling back but no one picked up. Still, I ended up getting charged 45p plus VAT! Spoke to O2 and they said some numbers charge you as soon as it rings even if no one answers. I’ve now blocked this number for good.
