I got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming to be from HMRC. He said he knew my name and address, and told me they’d tried to send me a letter on 6th January but it hadn’t been delivered because I wasn’t home. Then he said I was wanted for fraud and there was a case against me. I told him that sounded like complete nonsense. He then threatened that if I hung up, the police would be at my door in 20 minutes with handcuffs. I ended the call straight away!
