Just got a call on my mobile from a young lady who sounded Indian, claiming to be from O2. She asked if I was experiencing any issues with my service and then said she could give me a 40% discount. I quickly suspected it was a con, so I asked a few basic questions, like where she was calling from. She said Glasgow, but her accent definitely didn’t match, even though I’ve lived around there for ages. In the end, I told her she was trying to scam me and that she ought to find an honest way to earn a living!
