Had a right nuisance with this number buzzing my phone late on a Saturday night. Tried to ring back, but just ended up with a complete dead line. Plus, it won’t even take any texts! Quite odd if you ask me; feels a bit dodgy, doesn’t it? Anyone have a clue what's going on?

This isn't a mobile number; it's a private line that charges 50p a minute. Just a heads up, these numbers don't allow texts either. I do hope that when you dialled it, you experienced the classic unobtainable tone instead of some pre-recorded spiel. There was a trick that used to go around where you'd hear a fake ringing sound and end up hanging on, anticipating a response that never came. Quite the scam, if you ask me!
