I got a call from an automated voice saying my broadband account might have some illegal stuff going on and that if I didn’t press 1, my service would be cut off in two days. When I hit 1, a girl answered with a strong Indian accent, but she sounded clueless about the reason for the call. Pretty clear they’re just running through a script for scams like this.
