Received a call on our home phone from this number, and all I got was a fellow on the line saying, “Hi, can you hear us?” before abruptly hanging up. Quite baffled, I dialled 1471 to find out who it was and tried to reach the number from my mobile, but it claimed the number was non-existent! Curiosity got the better of me, and I called it back from the landline (which I now genuinely regret). A rather posh voice answered after a few beeps, requesting that I leave my name and number so he could return the call?? It's all very peculiar, and I’m rather in the dark about what's going on here.

Received a call from this number on our home phone - the chap on the other end kept chirping "hello, can you hear us?" then abruptly hung up. We tried the 1471 to trace it and when we attempted to call back using our mobile, it claimed the number was non-existent. Curiosity got the better of us, so we dialled the number again on our landline (definitely regretting that decision now) and found ourselves greeted by some recorded message along with a rather cheeky fellow on the line, urging us to provide our name and number for a callback. Feels a bit fishy if you ask me; we're completely puzzled by this whole situation.

In a moment of questionable judgement, we redialled from our landline (a decision I now regret) and got some recording featuring an overly posh bloke asking us to leave our name and number for a callback. Quite the enigma, really. Not quite sure what to make of it all!
