Definitely a scam. Someone called claiming to be from Amazon, asking if I wanted to keep or cancel a £600 phone order. Since I’m based in the UK, I got suspicious straight away. They kept trying to get me to say ‘yes’ and kept repeating things like ‘so, you want to cancel then’. I avoided giving a clear answer and quickly checked my Amazon account on another gadget; everything seemed fine. Then they sent me a text with a 4-digit code and asked me to read it out to ‘cancel’ the order. I just ended the call right away and haven’t heard from them since.
