Really helpful and clever service, I doubt this place is dodgy since they already knew I had solar panels and even that my warranty had run out. I’ve invested quite a bit in my solar setup, so I went for the ESE cover because it seems like good value for what it costs.

Seems like a legit company, I had a look on companies house to check them out before I signed anything. Can't really grumble since my solar setup was pretty costly, and I'd hate for the panels to go wrong. Gives me a bit of peace of mind and the price wasn't too bad. I'd say give them a go.

They said they were from ESE, near Ellesmere Road in Cheshire, talking about solar panels. When I asked which town, she said Chester. Then I asked for their postcode and she just hung up. I looked them up on Google and couldn’t find any legit company. They’re definitely breaking the law ringing a number on the TPS list. Plus, it’s a GDPR breach as they must have my number without permission. I saw some positive reviews here recently which seemed odd - I reckon they might be faking those to appear more reliable.

They said they couldn’t share that info. We’ve asked the manager to ring back to clarify things, as they claimed to speak for all brands which isn’t true. I also looked up the company name, and it’s a solar firm based in Manchester. Just be cautious, ask lots of questions and contact your inverter manufacturer to check your situation properly.

Got a call today from a lady saying the warranty on my solar panel inverter was up and she needed payment to renew it, supposedly so I wouldn’t be liable for any issues down the line. I told her she should speak to my landlord, and she said she would then hung up. Problem is, I don’t have a landlord! Not giving any payment info to some random person ringing from a mobile number, no way. These lot just looking for easy prey to grab card details - watch out everyone!

I told her I hadn’t heard of them and would verify with the people who installed the panels. We do own some but they’re in my husband’s name so I suspected she was fishing. I kept her on the line for ages (her call cost, not mine) then asked where the panels were. She said on my roof. I told her I didn’t have a roof. She got a bit annoyed and insisted I did. I then said I lived in a garden flat (which I don’t really). Guess she didn’t see that coming. She hung up. Just in a silly mood so chatted with her for a laugh. ??

Got a call from a woman named Lynsey saying she was with the Energy Assessment Centre, telling me our solar panel warranty had run out. She wanted me to speak to my husband, who wasn’t around, so I asked for her number to ring back. She just hung up on me. How on earth did they find out my name, number and details about the panels? Got a call today at 15:39, but my BT Call Blocker stopped it for the fifth time already, so I didn't even have to answer. You'd reckon by now they'd realise I’m not picking up. Since the Call Blocker lets them leave a message, it actually charges them for the call, which is great in my opinion - makes it cost them a bit more each time.

I got a call from a firm saying they were ES solar. They told me my solar panel warranty had expired and tried to get me to buy some pricey extended coverage for a few hundred quid. The first time the lady called, I listened since we do have solar panels and their name sounded close to the firm that installed ours, but I told them I needed to think it over. After doing a bit of digging, it seems the deal is way overpriced, and the number keeps ringing non-stop during the evening, like several calls every hour. I’ve just blocked it now.

A woman named Lindsay phoned me claiming to be from something like EFG Energy about our solar panels. Neither my name nor my number is tied to the panels as my husband took care of all that. I asked where she got my info and she muttered something about it being passed on. Total rubbish if you ask me. She then wanted to talk to my husband. I told her not to ring me again.
