My phone rang but I just ignored it and didn’t answer.

This number called me on 06/01/17 around 6:27 pm, asking for me using my stage name. There was so much noise in the background, like voices and some sort of machines, I couldn’t make out what they were saying. I told them, “Sorry mate, can’t hear a word with all that racket. If it’s important, try not to call me from a poppadom factory again,” then just ended the call.

Got two calls from this number earlier, didn’t pick up the first time. When I finally did, I just said hi and the caller suddenly just hung up. They never left a message or anything, so no clue who it was.

You can block numbers by typing them in or choosing straight from your calls or messages list, and the app doesn’t cost a thing. Now my phone doesn’t bother ringing, the calls just get handled by this app which is awesome. Definitely one of the best apps I’ve got on my phone.

This number’s been popping up loads on my phone over the last week, loads of missed calls daily. Honestly, it's proper getting on my nerves. My other half finally picked up and gave them a bit of a mouthful - judging by the language, I doubt they’ll be dialing back anytime soon! Proper irritating lot!

Absolutely cracking reply! Honestly, couldn't agree more with what you said. On 6th Jan 2017, some dodgy foreign bloke rang me pretending to be from the crime investigation dept, blabbering about my credit card debts or some nonsense. I didn’t hang about - told him to jog on straight away. Now I’m planning to register his number on plenty of online sites so it gets swamped with spam and marketing rubbish. Doesn't matter much but back in Jan 2017 I got a dodgy call from some bloke pretending to be with the criminal investigations office, going on about my credit card debts or whatever. This number is a scam, don’t bother calling back. It’s actually an 070 number, so it isn’t a normal mobile. If you ring it, you might end up getting hit with some really pricey charges that aren’t included in your plan. They trick you by making it sound like it’s ringing, but the call connects straight away, so you might unknowingly lose money fast. Best to just ignore it.
