Phone number ☎️ 06752984632 👆 is reported as a persistent scam targeting UK residents, where callers falsely claim to be from Sky’s refund department offering approximately £200. Callers, often with South Asian accents, already possess some personal details such as name and address, and attempt to extract sensitive information including date of birth, bank details, and card expiry dates. Numerous recipients have recognised the calls as fraudulent and warn others not to share personal or financial information. The calls are repetitive, sometimes including both male and female scammers, and attempts to block the number prove difficult due to call origin fraud and number changes. Victims are advised to verify any refund claims directly with Sky and report suspicious calls to authorities to help prevent vulnerable individuals from falling prey to these deceitful practices.

Had two calls today, one from a bloke and the other a lady, both sounded Asian. They said the exact same things others have mentioned here. Seriously, why is there no way to block these calls?

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from Sky’s refund team and said I was due £202 back. She asked for my date of birth, but I told her no way. I said I’d check with my son since he actually works at Sky. After that, she just ended the call.

This number just rang me up saying I was due a £202 refund from Sky. The guy on the phone had an Indian accent and it sounded fishy straight away. I asked him for my Sky account number to check it was legit, but he couldn't give me any details and just kept going on about the refund. When I pressed again for my account number he just cut me off. Seemed like a total scam to me!

This one was really pushy. She already had my details - name, number and address - but still insisted on finding out which bank I use. I didn’t answer the first time, but she called me again, trying to get that info!

Just like loads of others here, I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Sky. She said I was due a refund of £202. After confirming my name and address, she said she needed more details to give me the refund. Then she asked for my date of birth, and I instantly knew it was a trick to get my bank info. I told her I didn’t believe her and hung up straight away.

I got a call from a lady called Rachel, claiming to be from Sky. She said I was owed £202 because of some "technical glitch." I’ve had loads of calls like this pretending to be Sky before, so I was pretty sure it was dodgy. She started asking for my bank info and other personal stuff, but I just calmly told her I wasn’t falling for it and ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman saying I was owed £202 from Sky. She then asked for my date of birth but I told her to send anything in writing because I’m not comfortable giving out personal details over the phone. Then, out of nowhere, she just ended the call! Bit odd if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman with a strange accent claimin’ she was with Sky refunds or summat. I told her I was with T.P.S and it was for training, then she just hung up on me. How many poor folks are gonna fall for this nonsense before someone does something? These scammers deserve to get their fingers smashed, tongues ripped out, and get their bits beaten with an iron rod.

Just like a lot of others here, I got two calls, one from a guy and the other from a woman, both sounded Indian and said they were from Sky about a refund of £202. They wanted me to verify my info, then when I asked what else they needed, the bloke mentioned my card info. I told them they’re complete liars and ended the call straight away, then rang Sky to let them know. I looked up the number on Google and it showed as coming from Puri, India.

Got a call from someone claiming I was owed £202 from Sky? Weird, cos I’ve never been with Sky. They were looking for a person who passed away 14 years ago, and this is a business phone, not personal. So I told the woman with the Indian accent it was a complete scam and hung up. Proper dodgy call!

This number called me recently, and once I mentioned my address, they asked for my date of birth, which I gave. After that, they confirmed the first four digits of my visa card correctly, and I also shared the expiry date. However, I refused to provide any more details, so they just ended the call. They claimed I was owed a £202 refund, but didn’t explain why. When I asked if they could post a cheque, they said it would be too slow! Hopefully, I haven’t handed over too much info by mistake.

Got a call from a woman with a really thick Asian accent claiming to be from Sky. She told me I was owed £200 and asked for my date of birth. I said no, even though she somehow had my address. Ended up hanging up on her. This kind of thing could easily fool someone more vulnerable. Absolutely needs to be stopped, it's horrible.

27/11/17, about 10:55 - Got a call from some bloke saying his name was 'Yan', spouting the classic "Sky needs to pay you £202" nonsense. Funny thing is, we actually run a TV production biz and if anyone’s owed cash, it’s us - probably way more than £202. Plus, Sky’s got all the paperwork to prove it!

Tonight I got a call from 06752984632 and the lady on the line had an Indian accent, sounded really convincing. I gave her my mum’s maiden name and my DOB at first, but then she started asking for my bank details to supposedly send a £202 refund. That’s when I got a bit wary and told her I’d get in touch with Sky directly. Pretty obvious it was a scam, so I reported it to Cyber Fraud. They didn’t seem to have heard of it before, but fingers crossed if more folks report it, something will be done about these scammers.

Just like a few others here, this bloke called claiming to be from Sky, talking about giving me a £200 refund. He already had my name and address, but then asked for my date of birth. I told him I was born on the 38th of Mumbai in the year of Zoldan, and my bank details were from Toytown, and I work for Big Ears and Noddy. Thought he might hang up after that, and sure enough, he did! You don’t wanna mess with them lot, that’s for sure.

This number’s a scam, they switched to it after I blocked their old one. Tried to report them but the process was so confusing! There has got to be a way to put an end to this. Makes me worried about what they might do if they call people who aren’t as careful.

This one’s just like the others I've been getting. They rang me loads in summer but then it stopped, now looks like they've started again. Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Sky, saying I was due a refund of more than £200. She quickly asked for my date of birth, but I told her she’d already have that if she was legit. Then she tried confirming my address, which was spot on. I told her I don’t handle that bill and she should call back later. Might ring her back just to mess about a bit. Had a call from a woman with a thick Asian accent saying I was due a refund of £202 from my TV and phone bills. She asked for my date of birth, which I gave her, but then went on to request the security number on my bank card. When I told her they already had my bank details, she said Sky’s refunds team couldn’t do bank transfers. I’m not sure where to report this, but it seems really dodgy and could easily trick someone more vulnerable into handing over cash.

Something really similar happened to me as well. They were able to say my name, where I live, the bank that my Sky payments are taken from, and even the sort code plus the first few numbers of my account. When I told them I'd call Sky directly to sort things out first, the person on the phone said she'd connect me to her manager. I ended the call to verify their number, and just as I was doing that, they rang me back. I just ignored it.

Got called no less than four times in a single day, bloke had a thick Indian accent. Kept the guy hanging for a good 20 minutes, chatting rubbish about a refund from Sky. Told him, "Look mate, with all this horrid weather, surely I’m due a refund?" Then when he asked for my date of birth, I said, “02/02/1868.” He actually believed it! He said “That’s right,” then asked for my card expiry details. Took him ages before he finally gave up. At least he was wasting his time and not conning someone else. I got a call saying I was owed £202 from Sky. They asked for my birthday, so I gave them one that wasn’t real, and somehow they said "that’s right"! Then they tried to get the expiry date of my credit card. I told them I don’t share card info over the phone, but the caller said it was fine, "I just need the expiry date, not the card number."
