I just received a call a few minutes ago. The person called my landline, so I wasn't able to see the number. However, when I asked for his phone number and details, he gave me the exact same information: 062314020, which belonged to a person named Mohamad Arif from the Mahkamah Melaka. I told him to call me back after I verify with the police if this is a scam, but he never followed through. Quite amusing, really!

I recently received a phone call from someone claiming to be Makhamah Melaka, Mr. Ahmad Fauzi. They requested my IC (Identification Card) number. However, I became suspicious and decided to respond by informing them that I will call them back later. I strongly believe this is a scam, so please be cautious.

I too recently received a call from the same number. The person on the line claimed to be Johnson Tan, an official from the law department with the staff ID MK4618. He mentioned that his office is located at Complex Makama, Magistrate Court, Malacca. He provided me with his landline number, which is 06-2314020. During the conversation, he asked for my name and passport number. As a precaution, I only shared a nickname with him and refrained from disclosing my passport number. I have just received a phone call from this number, and the person said something similar to you. I received a phone call from an operator who instructed me to press 0 for further information. Mohd Shahrul from the Magistrate Office in Melaka introduced himself and requested my name and IC number. He asked me to wait as he checked my case. He said that I had a debt with HL Credit Card amounting to RM 16,8xx and that a subpoena would be sent if I did not settle it. However, I do not have an account with HL.

I recently received a phone call from a certain number. The person on the other end of the line repeatedly asked for my personal information, even though they were the one who initiated the call. I informed them that since they called me, they should have had my particulars already. In response, I requested their own personal information so that I could report the incident to the police. The person identified themselves as Mohd Asri bin Abdul Rahman Sidik from Unit Sivil Komersial. The provided phone number matched the one from which the call originated. They became angry when I asked for their extension number. It was evident to me that this individual was indeed a scammer, as they couldn't provide the required details. I also understand that sensitive information like this should only be exchanged through secure means.

If any of you receive a similar call, be sure to gather all relevant details and file a police report, as it is undoubtedly a scam.

Beware of scammers, do not take calls from numbers starting with 0069750165612 & 0085905781956. They slipped up and called from an office number as mentioned above. The scammer introduced themselves as being from the Melaka court. The contact number they provided is 06-2314020. Please don't become a victim of scammers, you can avoid it by listening and reading information in newspapers, social media, and other sources. Scammers are becoming smarter in trapping all of us. So be cautious... Please have compassion for yourself who work tirelessly to earn money.

This number is a complete scam, claiming to be calling from the Melaka court (Muhammad Afri). They seem to know my IC number and name very well, alleging that I owe RM16,000 on my credit card from Hong Leong Bank. They threaten to report me to Bank Negara if I don't pay immediately, and tell me that Bank Negara will freeze any of my accounts they can find!

This Mohd Arif kid is really foolish, he doesn't even understand basic terminology like "banker player". Even if he only has 16k, he doesn't comprehend the concept of being a banker player at a casino. He needs to learn a great deal before attempting any more scams and giving us only four 4D numbers, 5521 0010 3231 8681.... If we win, let's thank him profusely.... hahaha.....

I was recently contacted by a caller from this particular number who claimed that I owe £16,000 on an HLB credit card. However, I'm confident that I don't have any outstanding debt on my card. It's worth noting that my financial record is spotless. The caller insisted on transferring the call to the IPK Melaka.
