3 yearsI got a call from this number saying someone had signed up using my info, like email and phone, and had linked it to a different password. They told me I needed to withdraw the money in the account to open a new one. Thing is, I don't even have anything related to gardening or whatever they mentioned. When I asked what I supposedly sold on their site, the caller just kept pushing me to follow their instructions straight away. These scammers try to mess with your head to make you panic and not think clearly. This all happened to me around two years ago, and thankfully my bank didn’t approve the withdrawal, but I still lost about £400. Just putting this out there so others don't fall for these brazen thieves!3 yearsNot sure who called me, but I checked the number on a map and it came up as Energy Technical Academy. They rang just once, and since I didn’t know the number, I ignored the call. If they try again, I’m not picking up either.
