I recently noticed a charge from Virgin Media for a 3-minute call to this particular number, and I must say, I'm absolutely baffled. I have not called that number at all, nor would I ever. Various sources suggest that it’s linked to Santander Bank, but to be honest, I’m not convinced. As a Santander customer, I’m already equipped with an 0800 number for their services-so why on earth would I dial an unfamiliar 05511 number? It simply doesn’t add up. Honestly, it seems like nothing in the UK telecom landscape operates with logic, does it?
