0536124804 has been ringing us quite a bit lately, but they never manage to leave a voicemail or get past our BT call blocker. Lately we've been receiving loads of strange numbers too, and I'm quite convinced they're some kind of scam calls. Just a heads up to watch out!

I picked up but nobody spoke. Just hung up and number blocked now. The 0535 area code isn’t UK, maybe from India. Blocked it on my phone so won’t get calls from there anymore.

Had 4 pointless calls this week, none spoke up or bothered to leave any message.

I use caller ID because of all the spam calls I get, and I usually don’t pick up if I don’t know the number. This one felt dodgy, and I’ve had quite a few like it this week.

She claimed to be from BT tech support checking on my internet. I asked for her phone number, but the one she gave was completely different to what appeared on my caller ID. Told her I wasn’t convinced and ended the call. Not always easy to spot a scam just because of an Indian accent!

Some bloke said he was John from Windows and claimed my PC was sending alerts about a problem and asked if it was on. I told him I knew it was a scam, but he insisted, "No, it's serious." I told him to quit calling me as it’s a common scam and then he just hung up.

Got a call today around 7pm on a Sunday. Didn’t pick up but did a 1471 and then looked up the number on Google. We’re on the TPS list. They never asked for permission. Absolutely not wanted and super annoying. Please fix this, you’ve got the power and loads of proof of these unwanted calls coming from a UK number regularly.

I picked up this call at 09:08 on Saturday, the 19th of August. There was a brief pause of around five seconds before I was greeted by a pre-recorded message informing me about the new help-to-buy windows initiative. I decided to terminate the call and promptly blocked the number thereafter.

This number has rang me twice just today, once about 12:06pm and another time around 1:23pm. They'd also tried me earlier in the week and I did report that one as well.

Because of all the spam calls I’ve been getting, I always check my caller ID and don’t pick up any numbers I don’t know. This one sounds really dodgy to me. I don’t think UK numbers start with 05? My phone is from BT and I can block any unfamiliar numbers easily. Also, I’ve signed up to the TPS list to avoid unsolicited calls.

Got a call from this number saying they can help stop annoying calls. They wanted the expiry date on my debit card to check me. I gave them a fake date, lol. Then they passed me to another person who was babbling rubbish and asked for the full card number. That’s when I told them to buzz off.

Received a call at 8:50 PM on a Sunday, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of overseas nuisance or a scammer trying their luck. To add to the annoyance, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. Without hesitation, I blocked the number straight away.

Received a call at 8:50 PM on a Sunday night. I picked up the phone, but after several attempts at greeting, there was nothing but silence on the other end before they abruptly hung up. Quite odd, if you ask me!
