Got shouted at by this really rude person on the phone, and they even abused my little boy. They rang us three times, but I ignored the last call. It’s honestly frightening to think about what info they might have on us to be so pushy and nasty.

We’ve just let them know that our computer’s set to respond soon. She went on and repeated, “What, what?” and then suddenly hung up on me.

Got a call from +52 744 840 earlier - seemed to be from overseas. Nobody spoke when I answered and then the line just went dead. Strange.

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying there was an issue with my computer. He asked if I was sitting at the computer right now, but I told him no, I was just watching TV. Then he told me to switch it on and he’d sort it out for me. I said I didn’t have a computer (even tho I do) and he just went, “Oh no” and then abruptly ended the call!

No idea! Might have been a silent call, maybe because my answerphone picked up.

Got a ring from 052744840 earlier today 20/04/2016, some bloke claiming to be from BT, saying they'd emailed me about my broadband being off for a week. I was immediately suspicious, and when I asked him why my internet would be off, he just cut me off. I reckon he would’ve hung up even quicker if I’d said I don’t own a computer (always works for me). Also, seems odd BT would hire someone who barely speaks English properly - bit dodgy if you ask me.

I received a call from this number quite early this morning at 5:14 AM. I've no clue who it was or where the call originated from.

Got a call that showed up as from Mexico on my iPhone, it's crazy how they can ring you from anywhere in the world! Bloody annoying!

For nearly a month now, I've been bombarded with calls from this number-I'd say about 20 to 30 attempts in total! Just yesterday, curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to pick up. The caller’s heavy Indian accent made it apparent where they were from, as they tried pressuring me into confirming personal details they claimed to have harvested from my computer. They rattled off my email address, the operating system I'm using, the antivirus software installed, and even the model of my laptop! While some might be easily obtained, other bits were rather unsettling. If that number flashes up on your caller ID, it's best to just let it slide. There's not much we can do otherwise. Kudos to the government for their efforts to safeguard our privacy-doing a cracking job of letting it slip away, aren't they? Perhaps those tax pounds could be better spent on our security rather than on frivolous trips or hosting guests at the White House.

It's really quite annoying, I must say. I seem to get bombarded with 6 to 8 calls each day. I've stopped picking up altogether!

Called twice today. On the second attempt, we answered with "Federal Bureau of Investigations // Cyber Scam Division". There was only silence in response. Quite amusing! :)
