Totally fake message. Didn’t bother clicking the link.

Got a dodgy text with a link, thought I’d be careful and not click it on my phone. Instead, I copied the link into my computer browser and the site didn’t even load. Luckily, my antivirus flagged up three viruses trying to get in. Best not to mess with these links unless your device’s security is top notch.

Got a message from Zapp@hotmaill### claiming I’d made a payment and gave a link to cancel it, but there’s nothing like that on my Paypal at all. Definite scam alert.

Just got a text out of nowhere saying i’d paid something with paypal, with a link to cancel. I had a look at my paypal and nothing was there, definitely a scam. Don’t press the link, i’m pretty sure it’s just a way for them to get hold of your details.

Got a message saying I’d made a payment through PayPal and to click a link to cancel it. Obviously, I just flagged it as spam and reported it.

I got a message too saying I made some payment with "palpal" for zapp. I just skimmed it and hit delete. Still, I had to check my paypal account to be sure no funny business went down. These scammers really have no shame, will try anything!

Got a text from Zapp@hotmaill###] saying there was a payment on my PayPal and to click to cancel it. I looked through my emails but couldn’t find any payment confirmation, nothing at all. Tried searching the money transfer on eBay with the same email, but it didn’t line up. After seeing what other people have said, I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam.

Got a message from that same number as earlier, said it was from zapp@hotmaill###] about a PayPal payment. Told me to click a link to cancel it. Don’t click it, just bin the message immediately.
