The message even included a link to reply with my electricity and gas readings or to email them. It said something like: “Hi, this is EDF. You might be paying too much if we don’t get your readings soon.” Oddly enough, earlier that same morning I’d had an email from EDF telling me my smart meter was functioning fine and my latest bill was ready to see online.
