Today at a quarter past two, I received a call from someone who identified himself as Andrew Williams, but I didn’t quite catch the name of the firm he was associated with. This chap, who seemed rather keen on engaging me, attempted to field a few enquiries my way. When I made it clear I wasn’t keen on divulging any information over the phone, he insisted it wouldn’t take much of my time. I reiterated that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and after a rather exhausting exchange, he eventually got the message. To his credit, he did apologise before finishing the call. Consequently, I’ve gone ahead and blocked this number.

This number has been persistently calling my father's residence. My stepmother picked up and the bloke on the other line had the audacity to say, "Why aren't you chatting? Is it because you've got a, ahem, certain appendage in your mouth?" I found that rather offensive and it's quite troubling-it really ought to be dealt with.

Got a call from someone calling himself "Chriisss" from India, trying to get me to do a consumer survey. Whenever I didn't answer the question "Is that Mrs?" he got pretty rude and started asking "Who are you and why are you calling?" They've called me like 4 times in two days. I told them to take me off their list but that didn’t help, so I just blocked the number. Bet they'll try another one soon. It’s weird how loads of people with obvious Indian accents and fake English names keep calling me. Seriously, how many different numbers do they even have?
