For the past few days, I keep getting these silent calls. The other day I picked up but didn’t actually say anything, just waited for someone to speak on the line. Nothing happened. I’ve now put in a complaint to Ofcom about it. Fingers crossed they ban the number so the calls can finally stop.

Last Friday, I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from Microsoft, asking questions about my computer. When I told him if he really thought I was daft, he just hung up - I’d already got a hunch from seeing his number. Then this morning at about 9.40, the phone rang again but when I answered, no one talked. I did a 1471 check and it’s the same number as before. These calls come through pretty much every day between 9.40 and noon, and they've been going on for months now. It’s really irritating and I worry it might scare older or more vulnerable folks.

Some bloke called himself "Windows Support" and told me to type "assoc" in the command prompt. I reckon he wanted to mess about with my file settings to sneak in some malware. Best thing I did was just hang up straight away!

Today at around 10:07 in the morning, I got a call on my landline from 04546637520. I answered after about four rings, but then the line just went silent. Seeing what others have said about it, I’m definitely not going to pick up if they call back!

Got a call from a lady saying she was with Microsoft. She just ended the call abruptly. Weird thing is, I tried to block the number automatically but it said it was unlisted, even though the number was clearly visible.

My mum got really shook up by these scammers claiming to be from Microsoft. They actually accessed her computer remotely, so we’ve had to get it checked out by some tech people. We’ve alerted the bank and reported the fraud to the police because they were trying to pressure her for money. Honestly, I wish I could catch these idiots in the act. Watch out, everyone!

Somebody called me, said they were from Windows in Reading, telling me there was a serious issue with my computer. What creeped me out was that right as I logged on, a message popped up saying there was a problem with Windows. But when I questioned him about it, he just hung up straight away.

I had an encounter with a chap named Leon Clemming, who insisted that hackers hailing from Romania were infiltrating my computer. I wasn't having any of it and told him outright that he was just another scammer. To top it off, he handed me an 0800 number, 0800 7789798, and asked me to ring him back once I'd confirmed his credibility. Talk about dodgy!

My elderly dad, who’s 86, got a call from a call centre saying there was an issue with his computer. Even though he kept hanging up and asking them to stop calling, they just wouldn’t quit. It’s really upset him and caused loads of unnecessary stress.

I received a call claiming to be from Microsoft Windows while in Reading, and it was patently clear that the callers were situated in India. They seem hell-bent on accessing your computer and your private information. They were quite irate when I chose not to engage with them. This is undoubtedly a risky scam. Best to just hang up!

Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent, saying they were from Microsoft Windows in Reading, telling me my computer had an issue. I had a rather bizarre phone call from these folks today, claiming they could sort out some supposed issues on my computer! I made it clear that my computer is running perfectly fine and that I’m not a chap by the name of Mr Jenkins, which he persistently insisted I was. Quite absurd, really. Then, he had the audacity to tell me to stop lounging about and get on with working before abruptly ending the call.

I've recently received several calls from a chap named Leon Flemming, who appears to be involved in some underhanded hacking activities from UTA. This behaviour is utterly unacceptable and he ought to face serious consequences for his actions. His English is quite poor, which raises further suspicion. It's best to ignore any calls from him altogether. Honestly, it wouldn't be harsh to say he deserves a rather severe punishment for what he's doing!

A rather clueless foreign chap called me regarding my computer licence, insisting that I power up my device immediately. He wanted me to jot down a licence number and verify if it corresponded with mine. The number he provided was 08007789790. When I informed him that I was unable to access my computer due to my disability, he became quite irritable. I asked for his name, and he claimed to be Leon Clemming. I mentioned I would investigate further as the whole situation raised alarm bells, and he just gruntled that it was fine before slamming the phone down. This definitely reeks of a scam; I highly doubt Virgin Media operates this way.

Received a phone call at around 11 in the morning on the 10th of October, 2017. A young lady named Susan - her English was quite poor - claimed to be contacting me from my internet service provider, stating that my computer was compromised. When I inquired about the name of my actual provider, she seemed stumped, ultimately mentioning British Telecom, which is not even correct. Then, another person named Mike chimed in and his approach was rather confrontational. I decided to hang up, but they had the audacity to call back straight away - twice! I chose not to respond and have now blocked their number.
