This number has tried ringing me twice already, and I’m not picking up. I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam. If you see it pop up on your caller ID, I’d say just let it ring. BT really ought to sort this out, it’s getting annoying!

Got a call from some automated voice speaking with an American accent. They kept trying to get me to press a button, felt like a trap. I’m not with BT either, so definitely not from them. Sounds like one of those nasty scams trying to scare you.

Got a robocall saying my BT internet was being cut off cause of some compromise, then told me to press 1 for BT or 2 if I use someone else. Total scam. Don't press anything or you'll end up paying loads. Just ignore and hang up.

This morning I got a call from this number with an automated American voice warning me that my BT broadband was about to get cut off today because it was compromised. I hung up straight away.

my mum, who’s 91, got this robo call on her phone saying her account was in danger. she’s pretty sharp though, put the phone down straight away cos she thought it sounded dodgy. but just to be safe, she called me to ask about the number they left. that’s how i ended up on this website. massive thanks to you all for the info here, it’s definitely a scam. the number was 0450 0035 09, so watch out.

I got a call from a lady claiming she was with BT, saying there was an issue with my broadband. I told her straight up she was just trying to rip people off, then she hung up on me.
