Got a call from this number and thought I better put it on the do not call list to block them. The woman said she was calling from Melbourne and asked for money for her children - sounded like a total scam. Really hope someone reports these idiots and they end up with a big fine for their nonsense. Definitely adding them to the do not call registry!

Calling this number back just leads to a message saying there’s no voicemail set up. If you try texting to ask who it is, they just don’t reply. Loads of folks seem to be getting random and annoying calls from whoever owns this number. My advice would be to report these calls as harassment or threatening behaviour to your local police, as such actions are covered under the national criminal laws.

Like with a lot of these calls, I asked where they were based. She told me their office was in Melbourne CBD, like a huge call centre. Then she tried to get my bank info. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

Got this moron ringing me up AGAIN today. They buzzed me three times, but only allowed a couple of rings. If you answer quickly, nobody's on the other end. Absolute twats!!!

This number keeps buzzing my phone multiple times daily but stops after just a couple of rings, then cuts off. When I pick up quickly, there’s nobody there. Calling back occasionally lets you leave a voicemail, but other times you just get told "Optus wants to let you know this number isn’t in service". Really wish they'd just stop calling!
