On Saturday, 23rd of February 2019 at 11:10am, I received an SMS claiming to be from a debt collection company representing eBay. The message was addressed to me by name and stated that CLH Group had invited me to discuss a payment plan for my account. It included a link to their portal in order to resolve the matter peacefully: https://ebay,collectionhouse.com.au/sign-in/3y190i2k131X3Q193p1O1Q2s213U3L0f2H1_3V0P1g0B2g3e0m0T2o1e1u1d141n. Out of caution, I decided to check the link in a private browsing window, only to find that the webpage could not be found. Considering this suspicious activity, I proceeded to block the number that the message was sent from on my phone.

Received a message stating that I owed £306. I immediately expressed concern as to the legitimacy of the amount within 5 minutes.

I received a text from this number informing me that I failed to make a payment of $195. Afterward, they started calling from a private number and claimed to be representatives from St George regarding my Bank Of Melbourne loan. Their request was for me to provide my date of birth and address before they could proceed with the call. I refused to give them this information, so the person on the other end abruptly ended the conversation.

I was informed that I have a pending debt for a loan from Cash Converters and was advised to make the payment through BPAY. I contacted Cash Converters regarding this matter, but they clarified that they do not offer any sort of boat loans. It seems like a fraudulent scheme, so it is important to exercise caution.

I received a text claiming there is an outstanding AGL account, which I do not have. They claim to be from Collection House. It seems suspicious. However, AGL has confirmed that if there is any amount outstanding, they would directly contact you. Please be cautious.
