I just received a phone call from an individual of Asian descent. The woman claimed to be from a financial institution and asked if I was the owner of my address. Surprisingly, she even had my complete address. To avoid any further conversation, I simply informed her that I was not the owner, which prompted her to abruptly end the call.

I receive frequent annoying calls from this number, ranging from silent calls to receiving a response but still getting more calls even after requesting to have my details removed. Nowadays, I simply choose not to answer or attempt to waste their time as much as possible.
It is quite frustrating that the Government or Telecoms providers have not taken actions to address this issue. It is particularly concerning because it is the elderly and vulnerable individuals who are more likely to give out their personal information, and it is truly a shame that they are not adequately protected.
