So these muppets rang me up about some problem with my router or computer or something. I ended up smashing them with a load of filthy noises. Proper comedy, haha!

I picked up the phone and there was silence, so I called back about 4 times. Eventually, I told whoever was there to speak up, and weirdly, they just hung up right after that. Honestly, I reckon if you've got the time, you should just mess with them a bit - throw in some random stats and a bit of cheeky banter to irritate them like they did to you.

Some bloke told me his name was Adam Smith and claimed he was ringing from the Ministry of Justice. His accent sounded heavily Asian and there was loads of noise in the background. He started asking about my bank details and if I owed any money. I just cut the call immediately. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from an Indian guy who actually used my last name, which felt a bit creepy. He asked if I owed any debts, but when I told him it wasn’t his concern, he launched into this sales spiel with such a heavy Indian accent I could barely catch a word. I mentioned my number's on the TPS list and told him I wasn’t interested in continuing the chat. Right then, he threw in a childish insult - I just hung up immediately.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from a UK helpline, offering to assist me with my outstanding debts linked to debt management. They kept trying to persuade me to consider an IVA, despite my repeated explanations that it's not feasible due to my employment situation. It was quite frustrating, as they were relentless, and all seemed to be speaking with accents that suggested they're based abroad. They don't seem to respect my decision at all, and eventually, the conversation ended with them abruptly hanging up on me in a rather discourteous manner.

This guy called, telling me my computer had a virus and told me to switch it on. I told him I'm rubbish with gadgets but my hubby, who’s a copper, knows all about these things and I’d go get him. He then started swearing like mad, boasting about hurting some woman so badly she couldn’t walk for three weeks. Let’s just say, I let him have a mouthful back I won’t repeat here!

Got a call from someone who already had my name and address, and then asked for my date of birth. They claimed I was entitled to some bank charges refund thanks to a government order! As soon as I started probing with loads of questions, the bloke just told me to jog on and hung up.
