I received a call that purported to be from a market research firm, inquiring about my travel habits. However, the questions struck me as rather unusual-like jumping straight into demographic details, starting off with an exact age rather than the typical age bracket one might expect. They then probed for my specific suburb, and while I was okay with disclosing my city, I was reluctant to reveal my suburb. It soon became apparent that the caller was quite insistent, so I decided to end the conversation at that juncture.

Simply add their number to your block list. Keep in mind that the 'Do Not Call' list doesn't extend to charities, market research, political groups, or educational bodies, does it? Have I overlooked anyone else? These organisations often employ automated dialling systems, making it even more crucial to just cut them off by blocking their number.

I’d recommend checking out NWC Research. They operate with an automated random dialling system. Just a heads-up, being on the Do Not Call Register doesn’t prevent survey firms from getting in touch with you.

Honestly, this number is a right nuisance, ringing us four or five times a week and promptly hanging up when we pick up. I can’t fathom what sort of agenda they think they have-it's nothing but a bother and does absolutely nothing for us. We've stopped answering altogether, yet the persistent fool seems undeterred in their quest to disrupt our tranquillity. It’s clearly coming from Melbourne, so why on earth would they be harassing us here in Queensland? I’m uncertain about any potential repercussions since I was taken in by her approach-it was really quite believable. It appears that these individuals are quite adept at probing for information. They've somehow managed to tap into our DSL line frequency and started interrogating my wife while we were busy handling our banking affairs. The Fortigate 9000 promptly shut down all online transactions because it detected a potential breach, likely due to him being part of their network. Whenever our connection dropped, the Fortigate system prompted us to reboot that line. We've decided that blocking the number through Telstra seems to be the best course of action moving forward.
