Phone number ☎️ 03859401370 👆 is reported as a nuisance scam call originating often from individuals impersonating Microsoft support. Callers claim the recipient's computer is infected with a virus and offer to fix it remotely, sometimes requesting payment for their so-called services. They may pressure people into providing remote access or purchasing unnecessary software. Victims frequently experience repeated calls, hang-ups once answered, and aggressive behaviour if challenged. Many report detecting foreign accents and suspicious caller behaviour. This scam primarily targets older or less tech-savvy individuals, causing distress and confusion. Authorities and Microsoft confirm these calls are fraudulent, and recipients are advised to avoid engagement, not to grant remote access, and to report the number appropriately.

12 yearsI haven't got a clue who this number belongs to. Each time I pick up the phone, they just cut the line.12 yearsI've received an incessant barrage of calls from this number, nearly ten times now, predominantly between eight and nine in the morning. It’s always the same-no one bothers to say a word before they hang up as soon as I answer. At my age of 74, with a wife who requires assistance due to her disabilities, I really can't deal with this sort of hassle. Why isn’t anything being done to tackle these nuisances?12 yearsA chap rang me claiming my computer had a virus. I feigned ignorance, asking how a computer could possibly fall ill and if it was something I could contract myself. I reckon he thought he had an easy target on his hands until I revealed that I actually work in IT. I traced his call back to New Delhi and wagered him fifty quid that “Peter Smith” was definitely not his actual name.New DelhiPeter Smith12 yearsI got called by a couple of blokes saying they were from Microsoft support. After chatting with them for about 40 minutes, they didn't manage to get anything from me except a serious telling off. They kept saying my computer was sending out some harmful data through a satellite connection but couldn’t even say which device was causing it. I ended up ringing Microsoft myself, and they told me straight away it was a scam.Microsoft12 yearsI was informed that my work computer had been compromised by some sort of infection.12 yearshe claimed to be representing Microsoft, asserting that my computer was compromised. He went on about having exclusive software, specially made by Microsoft, to resolve the issue - something no one else could supposedly manage. I countered that my system had robust security measures in place, to which he replied that his findings contradicted my claims, referencing supposed evidence on Microsoft’s servers. I mentioned my intention to visit a Microsoft-certified technician for a thorough check-up, but he insisted they wouldn't uncover the fault, as only Microsoft had the tools to do so. Recognising the lack of authenticity in his voice, which had a distinct Indian or Pakistani lilt, I decided it was best to terminate the conversation.Microsoft12 yearsThe claim that they were ringing from Windows to discuss a virus on our PC seemed rather dodgy, if you ask me.12 yearsI've been receiving calls from a number I don’t recognise. Any ideas on who might be behind it?Submit Your Own Report (0385 940 1370)
