I do have Aviva insurance, and he correctly stated my name and phone number, but the address he had was outdated. I told him I no longer live there. When I refused to give my current address and mentioned I still get papers from Aviva, he just ended the call.

Got a call about my Aviva life insurance. When I asked which policy he was on about, he just asked if I had a mortgage. I said I was asking about my Aviva life insurance and wanted to know the policy, but I don’t actually have one. Then he said, ‘listen here, you silly woman’! I told him off for calling me silly and then rudely told him he was talking nonsense. Obviously, I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a ring on our office line, someone asking for a mate of mine. I told them he isn’t in and asked who was calling, they said they were Tommy, a good pal of my colleague. Obviously, he didn’t get anything from us, so he got abusive and wasn’t happy being questioned. Then he just hung up. We’ve blocked the number now. Don’t pick up these calls - they’re clearly con artists.
