I got a call from this number where the person pretended to be from Amazon's security team. They claimed someone named David Thomson was attempting to purchase a smartphone using my account. They wanted me to check my email right away. I told them I couldn't check my email at that moment and that I'd ring Amazon myself later. After that, the lady - who sounded like she might be of Indian descent or something similar - just ended the call.
