I called Royal Bank of Scotland’s credit card support about a problem I had with Ryanair, and they were really great at helping me sort it out. Definitely a solid 10/10 service from them.

I’m not sure if those red comments are from scammers attempting to make people doubt this real RBS number (you’ll find it on the reverse of your credit card) or if scammers are faking this genuine RBS number. This number is legitimate and safe to ring if you get an unexpected call from RBS about weird activity on your credit card. Just be careful to wait until your phone line is free before calling back. Cheers, Anon 13.

This number really does belong to RBOS Cards Customer Support. If you’ve got their banking app, it makes things a lot easier because you can use face recognition for ID, and for me they just asked to confirm my name only. Of course, it might vary depending on who answers or what you’re calling about, but I can say for sure this is a legit number.

I tried calling this number since it was on the back of my credit card. But after the first ring, it felt like the call was being redirected or intercepted somehow. It didn’t feel quite right, so I ended the call. Just be cautious if you get a number like this.

I got an email claiming to be from RBS, saying they couldn’t verify my travel notification unless I rang a certain number first. The email came from an address that didn’t seem genuine at all, definitely not one RBS would use. So I didn’t bother calling the number. Better off steering clear of this one.

I got a letter telling me to ring this number, but when I was going through their security check, the person on the phone wanted my CVV code. I wouldn’t give that out unless I was making a payment, so I ended the call straight away. After that, I called the number on the back of my card instead, and they never asked for the CVV then.

I'm pretty sure it was a NatWest credit card call, but it was coming from India, I think.
