I’ve registered my number with the Telephone Preference Service, so I was quite taken aback to receive a recorded message urging me to get in touch regarding my debts from this particular number. Curious, I pressed the button for a return call. When they eventually rang me back, they merely identified themselves as “Consumer Advice”, and when I pressed further, they stated “UK Limited.” I’ve done a bit of digging, but I can’t find any trace of such a company - the next call I received came from 0845 286 9459. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
