I picked up the phone only to be greeted by a robotic voice suggesting that if I was burdened with more than £5000 in debt, I could potentially have part of it erased by pressing a button on my phone. It also mentioned that I could opt-out by hitting '9'. However, I chose not to engage and just left my line open. The same message played through a couple more times before the call suddenly disconnected.
