Got a voicemail from someone claiming they're with BMW, asked me to ring back on the same number. The number looked unfamiliar so I had a quick look on the BMW official website but couldn’t find it listed anywhere. Seems dodgy to me, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Someone rang me earlier claiming to be from Alphera Financial - I had a car loan with them ages ago. They wanted to check my identity and asked for my bank’s name plus the final four digits on my card. I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info, so I said no. The bloke said I had to ring back on the same number, but there’s no way I’m doing that. Feels dodgy to me!
