It’s a total online scam. They call up saying they’ll cut your connection because your IP’s been hacked. Then they tell you to press 1 to get a free engineer to fix it. Don’t fall for it!

I'm going to block the number now, though I’m sure whoever it is will just get round it somehow. What are they even trying to get out of this?
