Just like others have said, got a call from a woman with an accent that sounded like she was from the Indian subcontinent. The line was really crackly, like she was ringing from overseas. She claimed she was calling about updating my telephone preference and nuisance call blocking service, which honestly has never done a thing for me. She said she wouldn't ask for personal info, but then she already knew my address and pressed for my debit card details. When I asked for her number, she flat out refused to give it. Felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent who said they were from the telephone preference service. They asked specifically for my wife by name and tried to get her to sign up for some kind of upgrade. Sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone who said they were with the telephone preference service, asked specifically for my wife by her name. They wanted her to register for some kind of upgrade. The person on the line had an asian accent. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be my phone number blocking company - turns out it was a lie! Oddly enough, I'd actually blocked a couple of numbers just the day before.

Some bloke called Ray Wilson rang me up, sounded like he was from India or somewhere, and said he was from the telephone preference service. Oddly enough, he knew my surname and where I live. He started going on about checking my debit card because apparently it was due to expire this year - which it isn’t. Plus, I know for sure that TPS is free, so there’s no way they’d ask for card info. I've already reported the whole thing to them.
