Got a call from some Leicester number, sounded like a total scammer trying to get my bank information. Definitely a no-go, stay alert!

No matter what actions TalkTalk has taken or is currently taking, anyone using their service is bound to get bugged by these scammers. Meanwhile, TalkTalk seems only interested in jacking up their prices so the execs and shareholders get a fat payout. What really baffles me is how these dodgy numbers keep using the phone networks with zero consequences. If I tried pulling that, I’m certain they’d cut me off without a second thought.

Received a phone call today from a chap claiming to be from Sky, insisting that my subscription had lapsed. I replied, "Fascinating, but I don’t have Sky at all." At that point, he abruptly ended the call. Such a blatant attempt at scamming; it's really quite annoying.

Had a call earlier today claiming my sky cover had expired. When I asked for the policy number, they gave me a made-up one. Then I wanted to know who I was talking to and the line just cut off. I was pretty sure it was a scam since we don’t even have sky. Normally I avoid picking up 03 numbers but was expecting an important work call.

I didn’t pick up, somehow got the feeling it was a spam call.

Yesterday, I received a rather suspicious call from a gentleman named 'Mark', who claimed to be representing Sky. He was probing if I was interested in renewing my breakdown cover for either one or two years. When I requested his contact number, he swiftly transferred me to a supposed supervisor named 'Sid', who adamantly asserted they were indeed affiliated with Sky. I promptly ended the call, but they then contacted me again moments later. Unsurprisingly, I hung up once more. A quick search revealed it to be yet another dodgy scheme. These callers seem to have an uncanny knack for ringing me frequently and don't take kindly to being rejected; I've encountered some rather rude behaviour from them in the past. They are truly persistent. Be wary and don’t fall for their tricks!

Some bloke rang me up saying I owed money for my Sky box service. I explained I don’t have any agreement with Sky, so I’m not handing over any cash. Then he started banging on about my computer, but I cut him off straight away with my call blocker. No chance i’m getting called from that dodgy number once more. Totally a scam, if you ask me.

Received a dodgy phone call claiming they had spotted a multitude of serious error alerts tied to Microsoft Windows from my number. It’s laughable, really! First off, I’m a Mac user, so their whole angle misses the mark completely. Secondly, if there were any alerts or issues on Windows, surely they’d be relayed anonymously, right? And lastly, I’ve never once linked my number to Microsoft - makes me wonder how they even got my details! Total nonsense, if you ask me.
