The bloke on the line had an Indian accent and said he was from Microsoft, telling me my PC was riddled with a virus. I've had calls like this before, so I just told him to hang on while I dealt with someone at the back door, then I left the phone on the table and walked away, making him wait. Just remember, no legit company like Microsoft will ring you up about viruses or malware, so this has got scam written all over it.
