Some bloke rang saying he was from my car insurance company. Funny thing is, we’d just had a little accident on our car, so my husband believed him at first. He passed the phone to me, but I got a weird vibe, so I asked for his contact number saying I’d ring him back. He gave me this number, so now I’m looking it up here. Really glad I did! If it wasn't for this site, I’d probably have just called the real insurance firm to check if it was legit. Cheers!

Got a call from some bloke saying I was involved in a crash back in May 2019, like a passenger from the accident was trying to put a claim on me. He told me I hit them from behind and some random fella was driving my car. But honestly, I was at work the whole day with my car, no way I was in any accident. The guy was really dodgy with the info. Claimed he was with an underwriter linked to my insurer and that I never reported the crash to them. Then tried to scare me saying it'd be "serious" if I didn’t deal with it. Pretty obvious this was a total scam.

Got a call from a dodgy Indian bloke saying he was from the Co-op, telling me I’d been in an accident - which isn’t true at all. Totally fishy, don’t trust these scams.

This number belongs to Co-op Insurance, at least that’s what I was told when Marks and Spencer passed me over to them since they handle our insurance.

Not sure if their marketing team might also use this line, but if you’re worried about calls coming from here, maybe give Co-op Insurance a quick call to check what’s going on.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were from Coop Insurance, but the info was pretty unclear and they even got the date wrong. I’m certain if it was legit about some insurance claim, I’d have been contacted earlier since the accident happened last September. So yeah, just another dodgy call that’s going straight onto my blocked numbers.

Got a couple of messages from 03459998888, saying they were from coop insurance. They claimed i’d been in some sort of car accident on a specific date and gave me a reference number, but it wasn’t my policy number at all. Pretty worrying stuff. I wasn’t even out that day, was off sick. Don’t people normally get a letter or an email about these things? Feels a bit off to me.

Got a call supposedly from Co-op Insurance about my policy. Thing is, I don’t have any policy with Co-op at all. They left a voicemail, but the callback number was different from the one they used to ring me. Looking around online, some sites say it might be legit, others say it’s dodgy, so it’s hard to tell. But since I don’t have any insurance with them, I’m pretty convinced it’s just a scam.

Co-operative Insurance Services are a nightmare, seriously stay well clear. Their customer support is clueless, trying to get hold of anyone in management is impossible, and their way of dealing with claims is just terrible.
