some bloke rang and said he was calling from lloyds bank about some sort of fraud on our account. i told him straight away that we don’t even have an account with lloyds, and then he just hung up on me without saying a word! strange behaviour if you ask me.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from the Fraud team at Lloyds Bank. They initially contacted my landline but were given my mobile number instead. I was on the road at the time, so the caller kindly said they'd reach out again in an hour once I was settled at my desk with access to a computer. Unfortunately, that follow-up call never materialised.
