I've received two phone calls from this number, purporting to be from the Halifax fraud team. The caller insisted that my card was showing some dodgy activity. When I pressed for his name and where he was based, he outright refused, telling me, "I don’t need to justify myself to you," before abruptly ending the call. A week has gone by, and lo and behold, he rings again and attempts the same ruse. I called him out immediately, and he sounded quite flustered before hanging up. It’s clear he’s just trying to con folks into revealing their card information.
