Received a call from someone claiming to be with my bank, alerting me about some suspicious payment requests. Oddly enough, they didn't disclose which bank they represented, nor could they provide the last four digits of my account or even my name. I double-checked my account and found absolutely no records of these alleged transactions. Pretty certain this is just a scam at play.

I received a barrage of missed calls, one after the other, for about ten minutes—roughly every couple of minutes. Then it settled into a pattern where I’d get calls every two hours. Oddly enough, the landline never actually rang at all during this time.

My landline has been notifying me of a missed call from this number, yet it never actually rings when they call. I’ve attempted to return the call a couple of times now, but it just emits a sound akin to a fax machine and there’s no one on the other end to respond. Quite peculiar, I must say!
