Phone number ☎️ 03458351150 πŸ‘† is reported as both a legitimate insurance claims contact and a source of potential harassment. Many users confirm it belongs to genuine third-party insurers, such as Direct Line and Churchill, often calling after no-fault accidents to offer vehicle repairs and hire cars. However, there are numerous complaints about persistent, unclear, or misleading calls, some suspected scams demanding money or using aggressive tactics. Several individuals advise verifying accident details with your own insurer and ignoring unsolicited calls from third parties. Some calls have been confusing due to poor communication or premature hang-ups, leading to suspicion. Overall, while the number is authentic for certain insurance claim purposes, caution is recommended to avoid scams or unwanted pressure, and it’s best to communicate primarily with your own insurance provider.

I got a call from someone saying they were underwriters at my insurance. I answered just to be safe. If you're unsure, they ought to have your accident info handy to prove it's legit.

My elderly mum keeps getting calls from some place called Oxylis, like 6 or more times every day, even as late as 10pm, saying she owes over £1600 to some insurance client. It’s clear it’s a total scam. Mum rang her actual insurance company and they confirmed no claims or debts. We’ve been noting down every single call and if they bother her once more, we’re going to report them to the police for harassment. Such a disgrace to keep pestering vulnerable people like this!

Scam caller- criminal at the other end of this line. Bogus excuse to cold call referring to me as "Clive". Bottom feeders in action here.

I got a call from a lady with an Indian or Pakistani accent, but I could barely catch what she was saying. She kept telling me to call back but wouldn’t explain why. Look, I did have a car accident and my vehicle was totalled, the insurance sorted me out. Regardless of who’s blamed once the police finish their inquiry, you really should only talk to your insurer or wait till the cops ask you. These callers aren’t there to help; they just want to save their company money by squeezing more from your insurance.

This number is actually for Direct Line, no joke. They contacted me directly and turned out to be third party insurers. I called them back and they said they’d sort out my car and even give me a rental while it’s being fixed. Honestly, they’ve been way better than my own insurance, who just want to write off my car over something small. I’ve got an appointment at the garage I picked and they promised a similar car to use until mine’s done. Gotta say, props to Direct Line for that.

Got a call from Churchill Insurance, said they were ringing for their client who caused the crash I was involved in. They wanted to sort things out with us personally instead of going through our insurer. Not happening, we pay for insurance for a reason - tell them to talk to my insurance, end of!

I contacted my insurance provider to notify them about a no fault claim, and they told me to let them handle it all. They warned me that the other party might try to bother me with calls or messages to intimidate or convince me, and advised me to just ignore those. Since then, I've been getting calls and texts non stop, but I simply ignored them. I stuck to communicating only with my own insurer and paid no attention to the third party or anyone else.

Direct Line Insurance gave me a ring, left a voicemail and a message. About a week ago, someone crashed into my car and said they’d contact their insurer. This morning I missed two calls from this number. The voicemail said it was Direct Line and to call back with a reference number. The message included my reg and name, which were provided by the driver who hit me. It also had info about a hire car while mine gets repaired plus a link to follow up. I haven’t clicked the link yet, but since my car got hit, it seems legit.

Got two calls from this number today, Wednesday 2nd Jan 2024, one at 6:21pm and another at 6:25pm. Each time it stopped ringing jus before I could pick up. Oddly enough, earlier today my motorhome was damaged while parked near a neighbour's place, and both of us have notified our insurance companies. His insurer is Churchill, which I see mentioned in other comments here. This makes me quite wary, and I can't help but think why the calls ended after only a few rings each time!

Got a call from someone called “Dee” with a Dutch accent claiming to be from Churchill. They said some third party had caused damage to my car and they were willing to take responsibility. Offered to fix the car and give me a courtesy vehicle. They had both my mobile and home phone numbers plus details about my car, which they said came from the DVLA. Trouble is, my car hasn’t been damaged at all, so I’m baffled what this all means.

So this number popped up as their actual claims dept direct line. I picked up but they ended the call straight away. When I called the direct line afterwards, they said no one had tried to reach me. Makes me think a scammer might have copied their real number somehow.

Caller was really hard to understand, seemed like he was saying he was from some insurance firm and that my car was hit while parked. Honestly couldn’t catch much of what he was saying. Coulda been legit but sounded so dodgy I got suspicious straight away. If it was a real call, he’d be better off talking through my own insurance instead of rambling like that!

This number belongs to Direct Line, a well-known insurance provider in the UK. You can be absolutely certain that it's completely legitimate, so there's really no need for concern. Fun fact: Direct Line was actually the pioneer of telephone-based insurance services in the UK - a bit of trivia to ponder!

Got a call today (Sunday 9th December 2018). Didn’t pick up since I avoid unknown numbers on my home phone, I mostly use my mobile. They left a really muffled message about some claim with a reference number. I’m guessing it’s a scam, as we don’t have any insurance claims anywhere.

REAL CONTACT FOR THE THIRD PARTY CLAIMS TEAM
PARTY
8 years
Direct Line Group includes brands like Churchill, Privilege, and NIG. They use a third party claims service that calls you if their customer’s responsible for causing damage. They’ll offer to handle your repairs and car hire so they can notify your insurer just for info, meaning your policy won’t be affected - which is especially useful if your renewal is coming up. Your insurer doesn’t have to pay out, as the other party covers the costs directly, speeding things up and stopping your insurer from having to chase them for months while the claim drags on.
