So I put up an ad on GUMTREE and then these people come back telling me their business actually purchases mobile numbers! Honestly, it’s a bit disappointing, I didn’t expect that from Gumtree!

Got a call from an Asian lady who said I’d been in a car accident that wasn’t my fault and that she could help me claim compensation. When I asked her to give me some info about the accident to prove it happened, she didn’t give any details. Then she handed me over to her boss, an Asian bloke, who said he was ringing from Manchester. When I asked more, he admitted he had no info about any accident, just my phone number. He refused to say where they got my number from. I ended the call there.

Lisa Murray Degisi is infamous for her scams and dodgy behaviour. She constantly spins false tales about others just for kicks. You can check her out on Facebook - loads of flashy cars and a massive house, but none of it’s from any honest job she’s done. The woman has no clue what honesty actually means.

I usually dont pick up numbers I don’t recognise, so I let it ring. But turns out this was a scam call, same number that called me on 17/01/2020 and with the same reason - Ive got a car listed on Gumtree as well. Since I put the ad up yesterday, ive been getting loads of these suspicious calls. Definitely gonna report this.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from insurance, sounded fishy like a scam to me.

So I got a call from the RTA asking for details about an accident from more than a year ago. They wanted my full name, date of birth, and even my national insurance number! Seems way too personal to just give out on a call. And honestly, how do I know they're legit? They couldn't even properly verify themselves over the phone. Felt really dodgy to me.
