Reports on phone number 03457804010
7 yearsI recently received a phone call from this number, claiming to be part of my bank's fraud prevention team. They inquired about some unusual transactions, asking if I had made any payments to a company I didn’t recognise. When I denied any knowledge, they probed further about whether I had received messages from certain businesses, which I hadn’t. They then went on to say they’d be sending out a new debit card but insisted on verifying my identity by asking me questions. I pointed out that they already had my details on file and simply needed to send the new card. Yet, they persisted and requested the last four digits of my online banking login, which immediately raised a red flag for me. I told them I was not comfortable providing that information, and they promptly hung up! Just a heads up, folks - your bank would never ask for such particulars over the phone. If they were genuinely concerned, they'd send out a new card without all the rigmarole! Stay safe! - Caller: Fraud department of my bankSubmit Your Own Report (0345 780 4010)

About 03 Numbers
A lot of organizations utilize 03 numbers instead of the pricier 08 numbers. For example, numerous public sector bodies have transitioned from 0845 numbers to 0345. The price of calls is no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). The cost of calls depend on the time of the day, and most providers provide call packages that allow calls free of charge during certain times of the day. Mobile call costs vary depending on the selected calling plan. Generally, these calls are included in free call packages.
