7 yearsJust got a call from this number claiming to be from my bank’s fraud team. They were going on about some dodgy transactions, asking if I’d paid a company I’d never heard of. I told them no. Then they asked if I had any recent messages from certain businesses, which I hadn’t. Next, they said they’d send me a new debit card but needed to confirm a few details for security. I told them, you’ve already got my info, just send the card. Then out of nowhere, they wanted me to confirm the last four digits of my online banking number. At that point, I told them I wasn’t having it and ended the call. Honestly, your real bank wouldn’t ask for that stuff - they’d just sort out a new card if there were problems.
