Got a call from someone who said they were from Barclays fraud team. I ended the call straight away and then checked things out through the Barclays app myself. Turned out it was definitely a scam.

I've had a trio of phone calls lately, with the first two being annoyingly blocked in terms of caller ID. On the third ring, the voice sounded identical to the previous ones and claimed to be from my bank. That was the moment I decided to hang up without a second thought. Best to be safe than sorry, I reckon!

Total rip off. Some bloke said he was with the 'Vodafone Security Team'. When I asked him what that was about 'cause I'd never come across that department, he snapped back with "Well sod off then, you daft git." Number was 0345-724-5344. Definitely a scam, watch out!

I received a call from 0345-724-5344, where the person on the other end purported to be from the ‘Vodafone Alert Department’. They insisted on confirming my name, which I declined to do several times. Eventually, the caller lost their temper and said something quite offensive. It's astonishing, really! Clearly a scam attempt, so best to steer clear of them.
