Thought it was really the Halifax fraud team ringing about a 499,00 transaction on my account. Rang Halifax myself and they confirmed they hadn't made any call. They cancelled my card and passed details on to the fraud department. Watch out if you get a call from this number!

Some bloke with a really strong Indian accent called me, claiming to be from Lloyds Bank. He asked if I’d paid £60 at PC World that same day, but I hadn’t. Then he told me to open my bank app on my phone. I said I’m calling the cops, and he just hung up. I reckon these lot are linked to some firm named Zone Firewall, they peddle antivirus stuff.
