I received a call from someone purporting to be from British Gas, insisting that I need to renew a contract that doesn’t even exist! What a bunch of deceitful scammers!

Today, I received a call on our work line from someone claiming to represent EOn, with whom we apparently have an electricity supply agreement. I replied in the negative, and she kindly said she would investigate further before hanging up.
