Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was calling from some kind of security company. She said she needed to speak to someone who wasn’t there, so she left her number. Honestly, it didn’t feel right so I just ignored the message. Definitely seemed a bit dodgy to me!

Got a call supposedly from E-On or something like that. They said they needed to swap our meter for a smart one, even though we already had it fitted about half a year ago! Then they started asking for all our billing details - felt fishy, like they were trying to pitch some expensive tariff and just fishing for info. For a moment I almost believed it. These calls are driving me mad now, and I just tell them to put their phone where the sun dont shine. Honestly, they can stick it up their backside!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Eon, trying to sell me something. I told them straight up I’m not with Eon and asked them to buzz off - maybe a bit harsh but had to be done!

FRAUD ALERT. Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Eon wanting to sort out my electricity renewal. Instantly sounded dodgy. I know Eon never calls directly about renewals - they just send a letter outlining new rates. I told her we're not customers of Eon (which is true) and she then tried to find out who our supplier actually is. I thought, anyone legit would already have access to ECOES, so how would she? I refused to tell her, and she ended the call.

Got a call from an Indian lady telling me my contract wouldn’t be renewed. She didn’t seem very trustworthy, just skimming through things without much care. Felt like she wasn’t taking it seriously at all.

I got two calls from this number earlier today but when I rang it back, it said the number wasn’t in use anymore.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from eOn, trying to get us to renew a contract. When we asked them to prove they actually worked for eOn, they got all dodgy and unclear. Ended up hanging up since they wouldn't give any proper info. Definitely seemed like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming they were British Gas, saying our contract needed renewing. The weird part is, we don't even have a BG contract, so it was obviously a scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call asking for the house owner and this bloke claimed to be from Eon, saying our contract needed renewing. I told him we ain’t with Eon, then he kept probing to find out who our energy company was. I asked why he needed to know, but he wouldn’t drop it. Eventually, I told him it’s none of his concern. Yeah, cheers mate, he just gave in and ended the call!

Got a call from someone saying they were with EON, trying to get us to renew our contract. I ended up messing about and wasted around ten minutes just for a laugh. What muppets!

Got a call saying they were from Eon, telling me our contract had ended. Asked for the manager but they weren’t available, so I requested a number to ring them back. They gave me 01410 092 939. Since we don’t deal with Eon, no chance I’m calling them back.
