I was abroad and fast asleep when they rang. Surely they must’ve heard the international dial tone, right? No voicemail, no message, just a pesky scam call which has to be dodgy. If I call back, it’s 23p for the connection and 16p a minute, so 49p total. If they do this loads of times, they’d be raking in quite a bit. Now I’m really annoyed and can’t get back to sleep. Absolutely detest these lot!

I was abroad and blissfully snoozing when someone decided to ring me. One would think they’d notice the international dial tone, right? No voicemail, no nought, just an irritating scam call that must surely breach some law. If I were to call them back, I’d be looking at a 23p connection charge plus 16p a minute, which totals to 49p! Just imagine if they pull this stunt thousands of times; they must be raking it in! Now I’m reduced to being in a foul mood, absolutely fuming, and I can’t manage to drift off again. I absolutely LOATHE these charlatans!

They claimed to be from RSA claims and said there was some sort of allegation involving me and another party. The number looked genuine, so I called back but only got an automated message saying they'd contact me if needed. Feeling a bit strange about it, especially since my wife also got a call today from the same lot asking about a rental from Enterprise.
